Oh the weekend goes too fast...

This is probably going to be a very long post. It is pretty much three blog posts in one! Aren't you lucky? This weekend was great! My whole family was here for my sister's (late) birthday and I cooked up a storm and watched movies with my family and played with my nephew :) It was pretty fantastic! I love hanging out with my best friends :D
So these pictures are from Saturday, Sunday, and today-There are also some of my gorgeous sisters and mother in the mix! My sister Jenifer took them all (except the ones of her)! Enjoy and I hope you're having a happy Monday!

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Here are Saturday's pictures:

This was the Mexican Restaurant I took my sister to-we stuffed ourselves on warm, homemade tortilla chips! Mmmmmm...

Frolicking.

Yaaaaaay!!!! I love the rain. The rain is my friend. Yesterday evening, when I got done with class at about 5:30 It just poured buckets and I went outside and just stood on our sidewalk (which is right on the busiest street in town) and let myself get soaked. If anyone saw me they probably thought I was crazy. I just cherished every moment I got to feel the rain on my skin. That's one thing I miss about being at home...we live sort of out of town at the end of a street, so we are a dead end. I could just go outside and frolick in the puddles to my heart's content and no one could see me! I kind of felt like a fool frolicking in the middle of town...but of course I did it anyway!
Well, my weekend begins today-hope you all are having a happy Thursday!
God Bless

Proverbs 3:3-4
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

The 'End' haha-get it? No? That was bad, I know....;)

It's raining, It's pouring...

I was able to be outside today only during the sunny parts...why does that happen to me? I LOVE the rain, but then it only rains when I'm stuck in class or something...meh. Although it was sprinkling when I was out taking my photos!
This outfit was extremely comfortable. And it kept me warm this morning while it was chilly! I adore rompers. They are more comfy than shorts and dresses and look so retro because hardly anyone wears them anymore! I have seen some at Target, but those are only for little teeny boppers who want to show off a lot of skin...not for me!
I cant' believe it is Wednesday already! The weeks go so fast lately it makes my head spin. I am super excited for this weekend though. Sean and I have a bunch of his old friends (and now they're mine too!) coming over to play games and such. Then on Saturday I get to spend all day with my sister-and may even get to drive a car in the University homecoming parade! I have a friend who is in charge of getting people to drive cars and she was having trouble finding people who were planning to be sober...sigh-isn't that sick? Seriously, when will people grow up? Since I will obviously be sober I told her I would love to do it! But only if my sister can ride along!
Well, that's all I have, off to my children's theatre class!
Have a blessed day :)

I really like granola...

So I've been on this granola kick lately. I just can't stop eating the stuff. I could eat it for every meal if I wanted to and lately I've been eating it for breakfast and lunch! I started making it myself because it's kind of spendy at the store and it's so super easy to make! Although I did burn my first batch...so that was two cups of oatmeal down the drain...at least oatmeal is cheap! And ooooooh do I love oatmeal...mmmmm.
This will be a quick post because I have an internet meeting for my online class today...hurrah!
Hope you all had a good Tuesday! :D
God bless,

South Dakota weather boggles my mind. Yesterday was mildly cold, as was this morning (around 50 degrees) Then it just spiked to 80! And the forecast for the rest of this week is in the 60's and rainy... So strange...!
I'm making banana bread, doing dishes and laundry today. Sean and I have been trying to get the house really clean as we have family coming over this weekend for my sister's birthday :D Which is TODAY!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!!!!! She's pretty much wonderful and I'm so excited to spend this weekend with her!
This weekend was fun. My hubby got his X-Box back from someone who had borrowed it for years. It has an NES Emulator with all of the old NES games on it-like Mario! Since I never got to play video games growing up, it's been fun to try and play a little bit when I have a few minutes. Although I stink pretty badly...so Sean found me a cheat code so I can play with unlimited lives! haha! Ohhh what nerds we are :)
Hope you all have a splendid week!

Proverbs 2:1-6
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,

2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding,

3 and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,

4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,

5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
