Recently my husb...I think this is a wonderful idea! Recently my husband and I decided to start reading the bible daily. We devised a plan that would help us finish reading it in a year, we would read tree or four chapters daily, and share our thoughts on what we read. However, I quickly realized that it would not be as easy as I thought. I had not anticipated some books and some chapters are harder than others, and extra investigation and meditation is needed. What I've been doing is reading a chapter, analyzing and meditating on it, and if I feel ready, I move on to the next chapter. If I'm not, I don't, and that's okay. Like you said, what good will it do me if I read it all, but I didn't fully understand it. I've realized it's probably going to take me a little over a year to finish reading it, but I'm okay with that. I hopping that by doing this, by the time I'm done, the happiness will be greater and the benefits everlasting.
Sorry for the long comment, but I wish you the best of luck on your reading, and on any changes you make. :)

-BedsaidaBedsaidahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10055674434172986007noreply@blogger.com
